I always hear about the peterboro but this was my first time dining in. I loved the menu and had a hard time deciding on what I want. I ended up getting the crispy eggplant and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend especially if you like black beans because the eggplant has a black bean sauce on it. The service was great. Food was out fast. Drinks were great. Everything was clean. I'll definitely be stopping in again.

The Peterboro is one of the more trendy Asian restaurants the Metro Detroit area has to offer. It's located in between Midtown and LCA, where event traffic isn't typically an issue. Chinese décor is scattered throughout the restaurant, and the overall vibe is upbeat. The service is attentive and friendly. The drink menu offers some unique and tasty options, and there are typically specials, as well. The cheeseburger spring rolls and the fried chicken bao buns are my go-to apps. The crab rangoons and vegetable spring rolls are also solid options. As for the "large plates," there are a limited amount of options. I prefer the sesame chicken over the almond boneless, mainly because the sesame offers a larger portion than the ABC. All things considered, Peterboro's consistency and convenient location make it a great place for a night out.

I had an absolute pleasure, the food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was urban, yet chic and modern! I highly recommend the cheeseburger spring rolls and cucumber salad; not pictured was the Sesame Chicken, which was also delicious! I'll be back for sure!

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. It is a cute atmosphere the waitress recommended the Cheeseburger Spring rolls and they were unbelievable so good! I would go back just for these alone. She also recommended the spare ribs which we so much food. The food and beer was great, it's easy parking, all around nice place for dinner

Over the years I've heard wonderful things about the Peterboro, and wanted to eventually give it a try. My friend wanted to try it out, so off we went. I was able to make a reservation online, because you never know if it's going to be busy or not and it's kind of a hike from Rochester Hills. We got there for an "early dinner" at 5 PM and there wasn't much of a crowd at that point so we were seated immediately. The menu isn't massive, which is fine. It's more of a fusion restaurant where the chef has curated traditional Chinese dishes with their own take on the food. The Bar area has seating and I guess they've also done the same thing with the adult beverages. While I didn't get an adult beverage, I wish I would have after I left. The decor is more of a clean modern take on chinese decor. They have some chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling and wall art as well. It wasn't overwhelming but more of a nice aesthetic. I started with the egg drop soup which was fantastic. Quite Unique but tasty none the less. I went with the chicken lo mein and my friend went with the eggplant dish for her full meal. While each dish was on average $20 with a protein, let me tell you, it was absolutely fantastic! I ate my entire portion and my friend took her leftovers home and ate the rest later that night. The portions are worth the price and everything was wonderful. They have a restaurant manager there who circulates named Marty, and he made sure we were well taken care of. He took a few minutes to check in with us to ensure that everything was as it should be. There was a couple next to us who did have some concerns about their dish (we were sitting so close I couldn't help but here) and he handled that right away and corrected whatever the problem was. For what it's worth, I really enjoyed my time here as did my friend. Even though its a hike, the quality and attention to detail is what keeps us coming back for more!

Great place for date night or to grab drinks. Appetizers were phenomenal. They were fresh and well presented. Service was a bit slow but after receiving the food we figured it was worth the wait. We ordered the following items listed below and I'll rate them: Fried chicken bao buns: 10/10 Cheeseburger egg rolls: 7/10 Chicken wonton: 9/10 Fun chow noodle: 0 they had no flavor and I ended up sending the dish back Chicken fried rice: 7/10 Beef fried rice 7/10 Overall I think next time I'll probably just stick to drinks and appetizers. Parking is 10 dollars right next door. Incase you can't find street parking.

This is a great spot in Detroit historic Chinatown. They recently went under New ownership. Food and drinks are a 10/10. I've been here a few times in the service is always phenomenal. The food comes out first come first serve to ensure that the plates are hot and fresh. It's a smaller space so definitely recommend making a reservation.

I love this place. First of all, I love that they carry Faygo products. Their cocktails are great too. Every time we come here we love to order a bunch of apps and share with the table. You really can't go wrong with anything you order, everything is good. My personal favorites are the bao buns, mushroom dumplings, fried rice, and spring rolls. The service is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. The inside is very modern and beautifully decorated.
